Vi is the principal lawyer and founder of Vo Law. Vi holds dual Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Ottawa and Michigan State University. Before attending law school, Vi obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. She is called to the bar of Ontario.
Vi’s practice focuses on business law, real estate law, and wills & estates law. She understands the needs of the real estate market in Toronto and Greater Toronto Area and Vi is frequently invited to speak at First Time Home Buyer seminars hosted by local brokerages.
Prior to founding Vo Law, Vi articled at a civil litigation firm and represented clients in commercial, employment, and construction disputes. She also has experience in immigration law, tax law, and legislation.
With her diverse background, Vi brings a unique perspective and set of skills to assist clients on a wide range of legal issues. Vi enjoys fostering positive relationships between all parties and she is committed to providing unparalleled service in a practical and cost-effective manner.
Vi is also fluent in Vietnamese.
Michael was a recent LLM graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario in January 2019.
His practice areas mainly focus on corporate immigration, real estate law and wills & estates law. He has extensive experience in filing permanent residence applications under Express Entry; work permits through Intra-Company Transfers; students permits; and applications based on Humanitarion and Compassionate grounds. He also led and oversaw commercial loan transactions in relation to the purchase and sale of businesses (assets & shares) as well as drafting and negotiating loan agreements.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Michael was a Legal and Compliance Officer at a publicaly traded company in Hong Kong where he was overseeing the company’s algorithmic trading teams to ensure that all trades were in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and also holds a Master of Laws degree specializing in Intellectual Property from the City University of Hong Kong.
Michael is also fluent in Cantonese.
Liliya completed her LL.B from the University of Leicester. Prior to attending law school, Liliya received a Bachelor of Arts in History at York University. During law school, Liliya was a Researcher for The Street Law Project led by Pro Bono. She also supported the Amicus project as a Publicity Officer, where she raised awareness and educated others about the possible abuses of the defendant’s rights. Liliya was involved in academic life at the university, participating in competitive mooting and negotiation competitions. She currently volunteers as a Triage Coordinator at Pro Bono in Toronto. In her spare time, she loves finding new coffee places and pursuing her interests in literature.
